Dead people :O

Okey so ive been playing dwarf fortress for a while now , And after a while alot of things have died ofcourse.... But sadly they stack up on the list of (u)nits as Deceased ...Any way to make them go away from list? , since i dont want to scroll for 30min to get to invaders.

Mmm, pages and pages of dead goblins, killed by magma and axes. =)

Things that die on your map are listed, those who get away, like migratory animals or traders, are removed.

Actually there is a way to remove the dead list of your own civ, both your fort memebers and civ caravan members. Wait until the dead unit becomes a ghost then inter it.  When it says so and so put to rest then kick up the casket, wash rinse repeat.  It might take a little while but all those given this treatment are no longer on the deceased list. Its to bad you can't do that to invaders.

Well i dont want to wait for them to become ghosts just for that , Becouse of happiness in my fortress , And also its mostly invaders and dead animals. :/
