Well it depends on what limitations you're putting on yourself already. I mean if it's not fun for you and it's just going to be "fight huge stacks boringly,rinse, repeat" then it becomes pointless.

We MAY win with Marian Roman armies with a bull warrior + fanatics + mercs army (maybe), but we start with town watch, slingers and iberian infantry. It's trash.

Actually, at the start none of your cities are capable of producing Iberian Infantry- only town watch. You also have something of a "guns or butter" decision there, as the only cities capable of building the appropriate level barracks can also build mines/roads/traders. Mess up the balance (or fail to maintain momentum after sacking the Carthaginian city) and you don't have any money to recruit Iberian Infantry anyway.

Armenian war machine was unstoppable, or so everyone thought. Dacia has proven that even Armenians could die.. Santa went mad, and started a campaign of total destruction, starting with Scipii


The world began preparations for a great defense. There was still hope, as long as the monument of hope was standing tall.
Santa knew that, and so Dacia fell.



The morale fell, and German front collapsed.


Then, the siege of Rome began. The free men held their breath. Rome was a mighty stronghold, with unbreachable walls.


But the Armenian numbers were simply too great.


Rome fell, and European nations began a great retreat. The fell back west, to Britain and Spain. They could hold out for years, if not decades. But when Their swords were swinging wildly, to stop Armenian wave, cold steel has punctured their backs. Invasion of Spain has began.


There was no hope.


Armenian capital was moved to Alexandria.


What about Santa?
Years later he married his faithful masseur of unspecified gender, and They have vanished. Their last, confusing conversation..

It will take 10 to 15 turns with all those damn cities rebelling.  It's frustrating, having to retake them. The combat is too repetitive at this point. I'm sorry, but at this point i don't want to spend another few hours roflstomping poor armies that we outnumber and outclass.

Actually i'm pretty sure that i was allied with them for the last 10 updates 
Then again, They didn't attack or get attacked by any faction for the 10 updates either. (BECAUSE WE'RE THEIR ALLIES! YEAAH!)
