World-wide-Disaster
« on: July 09, 2011, 06:05:21 pm »

So it happended, some huge freak natural catastrophe happended and  most technology was lost or disabled by it.
People are shocked, stressed and panicked, fighting for their existence as nature goes apeshit. It comes in waves,
It has been quiet for a time, the floods dimmed down and the heat is somewhat comfortable, time to attempt to re-establish, this time we will survive this wave! No more meaningless casualties to freak flash storms or any madmen eating our kin. We made the school our fortress, most people live in the gardens in small shelters, like tents and moist cardboard boxes, the toilets are holes in the ground untill we get the water-plant running again. David crawled out of his tent, he was actually way too big to fit into that tent, but let people be people. He blinked the dirt out of his eyes and went inside the school, he carefully read the days todo list, it said:

Get that darned waterplant running
Go find something to eat
Scavenge, look for medecine
Find some damned fuel so we can get the emergency generator running again
Dont eat each other, or i will beat you to death with a hardened donkey turd.

((You play as yourself no need for chars, use your IRL first name to describe yourself in 3rd person perspective. Try to survive. We dont play with dices))

Nathan groaned. After 5 days of sleeping in a salvaged play-tent using whatever soft materials he could as a mattress, he decided that enough was enough. If we had this lovely high-school for a fortress, why the hell shouldn't we sleep in it? He dragged his hobo-mattress out of the child's tent and through the school doors, and made up his bed in a classroom

Then he went outside for a piss and shit in the nearest toilet-hole. Really, he thought, we can do better than holes in the ground. after covering the hole so that it wouldn't smell, he went back inside the school, and dragged a couple trash-cans out to a reasonable distance from the doors and the tents. then he took out a knife, and cut some reasonably sized holes in the lids, leaving one end attached and bending it up and down repeatedly, thus making a seat and lid at the same time.

Nicholas curled tighter in his tent. He didn't want to wake up. He and sunlight... didn't exactly get along.
He groaned, and pulled himself out of his tent, and stood up outside.
He shielded his eyes from the sun with his forearm, and glanced around the courtyard.

David saw Nathan pulling his matress into the school, David was dumbfounded, but was then reminded of the horrible oversize vermin invading the school's basement every night, they would be good food, if cooked properly a nice big fat rat could taste like a big nice porkchop. Suddenly a horn sounded from beyond the palisades, the gate opened and in came a truck, pulled by bulls, with lots of metal scrap, they were the parts for a water pump, now we just needed to assemble that thing and get some water flowing inside the schools turf. An old man, previously a plumber had a plan, but he wouldnt tell us yet.
