Forgotten Beasts, dust?

It farted some grey stuff. Then my dwarfes sliced it. It's bodyparts were made of coal. But I can't use this to smelt ore? How dissapointing.

And even worse - everyone that had fought it died later of some dumb syndrome.

One a sidenote, has anyone else noticed how trolls always seem to go down in 1 second, and then spend like half a season vomiting before they die?

Yeah, most Forgotten Beasts have a syndrome that, at best, temporarily incapacitates a dwarf. Also, for trolls, axedwarves will cut them into bite-sized pieces fairly quickly.
