It would seem we have no supplies.  If this is not some variety of clerical error then we should start production right away.  (15 supplies to be produced)

Stress the importance of keeping the rebels away from Washington to McDowell.

"My fellow Americans, I come to you today with a heavy burden.  I must ask brothers to fight brothers and fathers to fight sons.  I do not ask this lightly, but our nation was forged together as one in an agreement that cannot be broken lightly.  I pray for a speedy resolution and know that you do the same.  I would only ask that in addition to your prayers for a timely end that you would support our forces as they must carry the burden no man should carry, to fight his own countrymen."

Keeping it real and not looking up what Lincoln did is hard.  Also how long is a turn, as supplies may soon be devouring our entire budget?

Clerical error. I changed the time frame and forgot to update supplies, monthly supply use will be 1 per month/10,000 men so at april 1862.

To clarify:

Industry is per YEAR.
Supply usage is per month.
Turns are variable from 2 days to about 10 depending on whats happening.

George Meade. I'm sure that nobody has claimed him yet. May I?

Yes!
Updates will be sporadic however, I have a poor routine ;)

April 24th 1861

5 AM

Confederate forces are forming up to attack Manassas junction. 20,000 Confederates are preparing to assault Union lines. The Union forces have been attempting to entrench, but haven't had enough time yet to make much of this.

I will begin to model parts of this soon, we have about 5 people involved IIRC.
