Taming sentients
« on: June 28, 2011, 06:26:30 am »

I know how to tame sentients, my question is: Will I need a new world? Can I use my current one to tame gobbos, humans and elves?

if there's lots of g's and z's, it's gobbo. If you don't really recognize it, it's human. if it's called Urist, it's dwarf.

Not necessarily, try it out first, if I recall right it's merely adding the [PET] tag to them, that probably won't require a regen.

You don't need a new regen, my slave-horde of goblins can attest to this.
However, there is one caveat: your dwarves will still be afraid of the goblins because they count as enemies. The only way I know of around this is DFusion.

But I can pit them into a huge pit easier, right? And can I make them do any work?

Can't make them work without DFusion. And the risk of the pitting dwarf getting scared and running away is still present, but they shouldn't attack anyone unless they've already tasted blood.
