Why is my town filled with gobbos? They've replaced all the people.

Maybe your town was attacked by goblins and people fled, having only been armed with carving and slicing knives. IDK. Did you find any human bodies with piles of their stuff?

When one civ conquers a town in worldgen, the citizens of the conquered civ can become citizens of the victorious civ. This is how you get stuff like Cacame.
