« on: August 25, 2011, 08:33:14 am »

Hi. I never really bothered to look at these so if I may ask.. whats the differance between a community fort and a succession fort? Because I may plan to do one in the future.

A community fort is one in which the creator allows other members of the forum to adopt dwarves, and give them nicknames and sometimes even contribute to the story that he is writing. A succession fort is one where the creator passes over the actual fort save and everything to the next guy in line.

Story forts are also around and are ones in which the creator is telling his own story, sometimes with outside influence, but generally he/she is doing their own thing.
