How to bury a dead dwarf.

Hello everyone! I've just recently started playing dwarffortress for the first time. My first dwarf died today. I've made a corpse stockpile and the other dwarves have carried the corpse there. Then I've made a casket, and used the build tool to put it in a room. Now i expected the other dwarves to burry the corpse but nothing is happening. All the dwarves have the burial skill enabled. What am i missing here?

Q over the coffin and allow burial (i think its 'b'), may want to disallow pets so a random dead cat or something doesnt take the coffin.

If a dwarf is alive, an installed coffin can be assigned as their tomb. If they've died already, the above.

You can always ask it here :)
4th hit on google for: dwarf fortress bury dwarf linked to the wiki page which explained this
1st hit on google for: bury dwarf linked to a 40d wiki page where you could have found the bury page explaining this.
The wiki is also a great way to find information!
