Dwarves are, to all intents and purposes, a dead race.
Famine, war and attacks from the evil Titan Totmon Birdseed the Mountainous Ivy had long since crumbled the mountainhomes to nothing, leaving the dwarvern race all but forgotten.

But now, hundreds, almost a thousand years since the death of the last civilized dwarf, somehow, one crawls up from the swamps and tangled forest, raises a pick, and calls his long-lost brethren. They come, band together, these last handful of dwarves, and strike the earth. They shall renew the dwarven race!... They shall build a tower so mighty that none ever forget the dwarves again! They shall build...
Towerrighteous!


This will be a community fort sortof deal. My first community fort ever. So, join me to renew the dwarven race, in the no-doubt-shocking tale of Towerrighteous! You can be dwarfed as the two hard-coded waves of migrants I suppose I'll be getting.

At long last, you have arrived. You have heard the call of dwarvendom, and have travelled many miles, joining up with a ragged band of fellow dwarves along the way. Now, footsore and weary, you get your first look at the last hope for your race:


Hmm. Doesn't look like much. Nevertheless, this is the single dwarf-made structure built in the last thousand years, and you splash through the stream and proceed eagerly down the long, rough-stone hallway, along with your equally-awestruck companions, ready to fight tooth, beard and nail to build this place into a monument to dwarven kind!

'Bowie' is a happy go lucky dwarf who enjoys pottery, glazing and designing elaborate bunkers so he can practice with his crossbow, 'Leah', in relative safety.

When you have time could you please build 4 or so bunkers around the fort accessible from below via tunnels and the top via a ramp and hatch cover

@Triaxx: Since NRDL already took the planter, (Sorry, I forgot to update the list! ) I'll give ya first pick of the new bunch of migrants: (They arrived soon after the first lot... Not much to look at, is this what I get for my entire two waves of migrants?! )

*Lor Udibevud, female fish dissector
*Minkot Nishgeshud, male tanner (Who will also quite likely end up in the military as an axedwarf, being the only migrant with fighting skills apart from Nix.)

So, yeah! Who do you want, and then I'll start updating and getting ready to kick this thing off.
Oh, and @Bowie: Sure, I'll try... But I sense EPIC FAIL incoming on my part.

Here are our current dwarves... The ones with strange names are the founding seven, and I gave them nicknames. So we have four unclaimed dwarves, Lor Udibevud the male fish dissector, Domas Emenoddom the male furnace operator, Datan Keskalzursul the female craftsdwarf, (Whom I expect to die horribly as her name translates to 'shotchewed'!) Iden Alodeshtan the female gem cutter.
