Lots of rejected regions?

I'm currently making a world and Its rejected over 15,000 regions...

P.S.
whats the name of that website some guy created for hosting dwarf fortress files?

P.S.S
I'm using seed.... 1! thats right SEED ONE. lawl... maybe that has something to do with it?

This is probably too nerdy even for most of the people on this forum, but maybe we could use Seed 1 to be a new kind of pi-calculating CPU clocking algorithm.

If anyone else understands what I'm talking about, I salute you!

I believe this begs the question :

what, exactly, are the calculations done with the seed that affect the game?
( and the calculations, etc.. )

In response to the above question, I let it run for like a day at school. lol.

That's a known bug, I believe. I don't think it will ever finish generating that world.

I let it get to about 100,000 and it crashed.

Yeah, it's stuck on an infinite loop.  It will start initializing the "age of myth", find something missing on its checklist, and start over.  Repeatedly.

I bet that's a bug in the RNG, where it keeps generating the same seeds over and over again... Can you reproduce it?  Especially with world gen rejection logging on?

I ran into that problem not to long ago, turns out I didn't properly delete and re-install the newest version... check to see if it says in Map Rejection "No Controlable Entities"


Also, Weee!  I beat your rejects, this one I left running has almost 170,000 Rejections... *Grabs a Screenie and resizes it)

I've come upon the exact same problem, it rejects in the age of myth init phase. However, this is with non-vanilla DF, so in this case I think it has to do with entity analysis. It was doing it fine before I put in the Bay watcher arena mod...

EDIT: Found out the dumb error. Rejects were due to a hardcode reference to entity_default searching for a playable race. If none, autoreject. yay...
