You could try giving them natural combat skills, but I don't think that'll help matters in worldgen.

Actually, I think it matters a bit in worldgen. Giving my metallic golems natural skill tags made them dominant over all the races, and some if not most of the peasants have killed at least 25% of the megabeast population.

I need more !!SCIENCE!! to confirm this though...

im pretty sure your right my gnomes use to be slaughtered by the hundreds but gave them some natural skillz and they were murdering every think in the hundreds heres a common sight in ledgends 1345 elfs+ 483 random animals against 30 Gnomes at the end 243 elfs surived 0 animals 28 gnomes surived or they got cotton candy either one needs fixing
