I don't think it catching on fire at room temperature would do any damage though.

Zombies caught on fire by ballistas... Well the fire better kill off the zombie(s) if the ballista didn't. Otherwise that sounds like !FUN!

If yoyu made your dwarves fireproof, you could use the Bonfire Mod, start a fire, deconstruct the workshop, and make a bolt out of bonfire.

I wish booze caught on fire/exploded. Could've made some nifty bridge-based catapults that shot towards magma surrounded walkways. Kabooom.

Booze most certainly can catch on fire.  The true danger of a flaming dwarf is when he decides to take a drink, and so spreads his !! to your stockpiles.  It also can do something like an explosion, though I'm not sure if it's so much a huge bang as a cloud of deadly steam.

Or a cloud of "meh it's ok" steam.

Booze doesn't actually explode, or catch flame, or deal damage. It boils away in a cloud of entirely harmless liquor steam.

Why did this remind me of the "Best goblin executions"-thread? It too involved !!Booze!!, possibly even custom !!Booze!! that explodes outdoors, made out of goblins and elves, traded to the elves indoors. Once they leave the fort...

As for the ignite-on-impact ballista bolts, I somehow visualize them as how one can see flaregun flares in some games.
