I'll have a shot at this.

"JOHNSOOOOON!"
That couldn't be good. The commander only ever shouted like that then something had him riled up. "Uhh... Yes sir?" was all I could squeak out in response.
"GET YER ASS TO HANGAR 12!" the CO told me
"Aye aye..." I mumbled, as I jogged away from the GS-89 I was servicing. It would take a little while though, since I was in the repair bays. Still, when I signed onto the Luna, I was an engineer, so I'm used to being ordered about.
I get lost in my thoughts a bit, and I almost pass H12. I poke my head in, and then my jaws dropped. "Uhh... Sir?"
 "YES?"
"Why is that fighter towing a 'Noid ship?"
 "CAUSE I TOLD HIM TO."
"Um... Why? And speaking of which, why did you want me to come here?"
"CAUSE I WANT YOU TO PILOT IT."
"The fighter, sir? I don't know how."
"NOT OUR CRAFT, YOU NINNY. THE FLORONOID SHIP."
"How? Nobody knows how to fly one."
"YOU GET THE HONOR OF BEING THE FIRST TO, THEN."
 "Oh dear."

FTL jumps produce informational error equal to distance times the inverse of Johnston's constant. The DNA-cap structure of memory cells and rewritable memory of computer chips are especially vulnerable, and in long jumps are invariably damaged beyond repair. That, ladies and gentlemen, is why we do not know why, fifteen lightyears from GSB 90774, a battle between two previously unknown alien races is being fought. Xenology has proven from DNA samples that the sides are genetically distinct, and unrelated to a common ancestor or any other known race. Archaeology has shown that this battle has gone on for at least three millennia with neither pause nor change in ship design or tactics. Simple logic tells us that neither side is in such want of resources that they falter in pouring fleets upon fleets into this endless meatgrinder. But neither computer nor crew can tell us why they made the jump. Only base instincts and fault-tolerant hardwired routines survive to fight. The battle rages this very second, thirteen ships blasted into shrapnel gamma rays every moment, but no one in this galaxy, not even the combatants, know why.

Spaceship Captain hunts without Evil Empire. The listener graphs the molecular request. Spaceship Captain cheeks a demolished cage. With Spaceship Captain succeeds Evil Empire. Spaceship Captain boils outside Evil Empire. The trouble sees Spaceship Captain.

Well, if that bundle is valid, Evochron alone is worth it.

Oh great, another spambot, here to annoy us all by giving out games? Wait what? Well I have always said we get the best spambots...

But no, seriously, welcome! I'm just posting to watch, as I already have a copy, but I love these little community events. Sort of wish they had one for the terraria give away, as could you imagine what people would have gone to?  ;D Keep up the good work men!

Was going to post this. Would also be great to get the multiplayer community more active in Evochron... it's a really cool persistent universe.

What´s included?

Gratuitous Space Battles:
A space strategy game, where you design spaceships and put together big space fleets. Then lean back and watch a gigantic space battle unfold!

A space-trading game reminding me of Elite.

Fate Of The World
This is a climate-change game. Save the world or (alternatively and easier) buy this game instead.

Smugglers IV

Isn't Castle Vox free? I clicked the link from that offer's website leading to the Castle Vox website, and it automatically downloaded it. Of course, this made me go "WAIT WHAT THIS WEBSITE IS TRYING TO INFECT ME WITH A SHITTY VIRU-- Oh, no, the author merely ordered his site to automatically waste bandwidth forcing everyone to visit it to download his game. Whaaat. >_<"

The site didn't even say anything about it costing anything, so I don't even get the point of including it in the bundle.

Then I clicked what appeared to be a screenshot in a column of screenshots, and it jumped to some page with a video with loud music. I was expecting a larger screenshot. Misleading links which are really advertising! I'm starting to dislike these people. *closes page*

You should actually READ the site before posting. The link only get's you straight to the free download page. The full 14$ game get's you:

Access to all the different maps.
    Play multi-player online games.
Unique nickname in the online rankings.
    Years of free updates.
Unlimited games for a one-time fee.

I also clicked every screenshot available in the column and I didn't get any videos, so no idea what you are up to.

Game still looks semi-crap tho. No idea if it's worth 14$.

I don't particularly want the bundle so I'm not writing a story. Instead I'll link to someone else's story.

I also clicked every screenshot available in the column and I didn't get any videos, so no idea what you are up to.

It was the top screenshot in the column on the right, and then I looked at the URL it went to, and the URLs of the other screenshot links, and saw they mostly had nothing to do with the bundle and didn't bother to follow the other ones. I was looking for screenshots of them, or some kind of information about them, other than advertising. Evochron and Fate of the World I'm familiar with but never bought since they've never gone on a really good sale that I've seen (like Steam's holiday sales), GSB I've heard of but wasn't ever really interested in, and the other two I've never heard of. And about Evochron, it was on sale once, but I didn't buy it mainly because I own X3:TC and pretty much never play it, so I figured I'd probably end up never playing Evochron either. (Probably a better idea would have been to just look for reviews of the ones I didn't know anything about, but you never know if the reviews are going to reflect your own tastes; I didn't like any of the Humble Bundle games, but Magicka and Terraria are both great)

Hahahah, great stuff guys! Thanks all for participating :D

I laughed at all the small stories, but I guess I'm a more serious kind of guy!

And so the winner is... Naxza!

That was an awesome story! Complete with a twist and everything. Loved it! I'll be PMing you the key that I got. I think it should work with the download from the official GSB website (I think you can activate the demo?), but in case it doesn't I'll download from the link I got and send it to you. Look in your inbox!

Kusgnos "Dwarf Cruiser" story was also pretty awesome, and I happen to have an extra copy of Dogfighter as a Steam gift if you're interested. PM me your steam username or e-mail so I can send it.

I've played a bit of all those games, so if you're interested in any particular one let me know. Castle Vox is pretty much a version of Risk with less luck. It's very simple, and I expected it to have more features, but it turns out it's quite interesting. You can play single-player (at least for the single maps) without registering, so just check out the gameplay for yourselves.

Again, thanks all :) Great stuff :)
