I assume this will be fixed when/if objects start moving when their surroundings move away by unstandard means (lowering bridges for example).

But yeah. Working on maybe getting a video of the phenomenon.

Must have some sharpshooting dwarves to get a rock wedged on top of a bridge, I tell ya...

Definitely is a bug, though.

A few more rocks on my flingbridge and I'll be able to record a video of the effect (this is assuming I manage to get the rock stuck there again).

EDIT: Here we have a Basalt bridge and assloads of pages of rock.

This kind of makes sense, actually.  If raised bridges act as walls, then they should act as floors on the next z level up which should let stones or anything else sit on top of them.  It seems like the bug is not that you have stones floating in empty space, the stones are exactly where they should be.  The problem is that those tiles should say 'rough basalt floor' or some such rather than 'open space'.

Well, not so much that as the fact that, after the bridge lowers, the stones stay right where they are. There's several weird edge cases where you can get floating rocks; this is just one of them.
