My current fortress is named Slaughtershall.


Sadly, the only things getting slaughtered are hordes of zombie badgers, rabbits and groundhogs. It's such a shame, only one of what are probably well over a hundred kills got recorded (something special with undead not dying like normal things I suppose).

My current fort is "Inethilid" or Cityrule.


If I were the type to be swayed I'd make it an above ground fort... but since I have a viscious aquifer* I'm finding the desire the overcome the aquifer and build extensively under ground...



* It's three levels deep, all soil, and covers the entirety of levels -3 through -5.  It's also 2 levels high in the couple of hills I've got rendering them almost useless.  Overall it'll be very satisfying to defeat this terrible aquifer.
