Ghost Name Slab Engrave not possible!

Hey folks,

I have a ghost there, but it seems he is not any of mine?
It is not possible to engrave a slab with his name and I cannot find any corpse.
He has a coffin reserved, but cannot be brought there as it seems.

Any suggestions?

Sounds like a trader got himself killed, and the body got atomsmashed or tossed in lava. As far as I know, there's no way to get rid of that variety of ghost.

So irritating. Seems like this happens a lot too, where non-dwarf units die on the map, something happens so their corpse can't even be found, and you've got permanent spooks.

You can permanently rid your fort of a ghost by using Runesmith.
Find the ghost in the creature list, then add the Dead and Killed flags.
