Greetings, and welcome to Morgansfort: The Western Lands!

This is a campaign that will be running on Maptool, using the Basic Fantasy rules you can get for free here!

For those that don't know, Basic Fantasy is an open-source RPG system that has a distinctly old-school feel to it. It is very similar to 1st/2nd edition DnD in many ways.

I am currently looking for between 2 and 8 players. Times haven't been decided yet, but they will most likely be sometime during: 4pm-9pm gmt on a Thursday or Friday or 11am-10pm gmt on a Sunday.

I request that you don't read through the Morgansfort book, because that would spoil a large chunk of the game for you.

Hmm. Devling tried a game with this system, but it died because he didn't want to set a schedule. You mind if I import my unused character from that? I rolled all the stats, hp and gold random btw, but I'll redo them if you like.

Attack: Mace (1d8), Shortbow (1d6/Arrow)
Inventory: Mace (E), Leather (E), Shortbow (E) Thieves Picks and tools, 100 foot hemp rope, Grappling Hook, Large Sack, Tent-small, 20xshortbow arrow, Quiver 11 gp
Stats: 11 Str (+0), 8 Int (-1), 9 Wis (+0), 12 Dex (+0), Con 12 (+0), 9 Cha (+0)

Smuggler
The smuggler is always a "friend of a friend of friend", the person who can seemingly get anything for you overnight, wherever you are, no questions asked-for the right price. They have experience in appraising treasures and identifying profitable goods-only valuable things, though-using a mixture of wit and charm to sneak or bribe their way past authorities and of course, making their employers pay through the nose when they deliver.

1. Can appraise and indentifty treasure with some degree of accuracy, can identify illegal goods, will sometimes be hired to retrieve specific treasures by an employer.
2. Gains a bonus to hiding goods on his person or in a vehicle, and gains a charisma bonus to bluffing, bribing and lying rolls.
3. Gains extra gold when selling valuable items to merchants or employers

Alright, I'll switch charisma for intelligence.

Also do you mind if I take a background?

Example,
