It is taking me forever to create a new region. This is my very first time trying this game. It says "27 rejected" at the top and i have been waiting for about 30 minutes. Any suggestions?

have you tried creating a smaller world? try using the create world with parameters option, and setting the map size lower.

also how powerful is your computer? the world gen portion is a very processor intensive part of the game, are you running anything else that is eating up your processor cycles?
