War-Dog bug
« on: April 12, 2008, 03:28:00 am »

I recently skirmished with goblins, and due to unfortunate coincidences lost a good portion of my army, the war dogs designated to those fallen refuse to give up that designation, and more so, seem to be triggering the traps they walk over. (3 have died from stone fall, and I have captured one of them in a cage)

These are features, not bugs. War dogs remain loyal to their owners even after their owner's death. Toady has posted about this here, saying the following:

As for creatures triggering traps, this is indeed supposed to happen when they fall unconscious. Toady posted about it here, saying the following:

Were the war dogs injured before they triggered the traps? I'm guessing so, but if not, it does sound like a bug.
