I played it for a bit its okay, but eh there are only three playable ships (Beginner and the two factions) and you can't switch between them.  The "Modular Ship Design" is afaik just choosing Speed or Tanking.(And tanking was useless)  Its a fighter based game so if you like fighters then you might have fun, personally I'll stick to games with Capital ships and more ship selection.
