I think this is has something to do with when I made an artificial pound near by magma pipe and then designated it as a drinking area... It gave me a good laugh though.

Dwarves fish with their bare hands. (They also carve stone and work metal in the same manner)
Magma fishing could prove... difficult.

Just give them whatever flag Lungfish have... those crawl out of the water themselves. Add the carps attitude for extra flavor.

I never realized that they do so much with their bare hands. But as for metalworking, aren't we supposed to assume that the workshops have tools in them? I get a laugh thinking of a dwarf pounding a hot molten sword with his bare fist to mold it. Ouch!!!!

Lavafish should be doable, much like lava monsters. Just super high body heat, right? That'd be funny to see the elves bring one of those in a !!metal cage!!

The dwarves actually do have a method for getting those little fire snakes out of the magma, I don't see why lavafish should be a problem.
