changing military cancellation spam

I was playing around with military and burrows today, and I had a dwarf in the act of putting an item in a stockpile (didn't realize this at the time).  I turned off his hauling jobs, assigned him to the burrow, and removed him from the military (so he'd stop training).  This led to so-and-so "...cancels store item in stockpile: drop-off inaccessible." being spammed incessantly.  Is there a way to fix this?

Maybe remove him from the burrow again so he can finish that job?
