Possible cause for one of the freezes.
« on: November 08, 2007, 02:57:00 pm »

I've noticed on several different fortresses now, that if I have a dwarf who is below ' Fine ' I will freeze up for a medium period of time ( 20-30 seconds ) whenever his/her mood changes ( Like, from Unhappy to Very Unhappy or Miserable ). Anybody else noticed this?

At the moment I'm doing my best to kill my dwarves off, so I only have one who's actually happy at the moment, and that's because he made a suit of armor out of some poor bastard's corpse. And yes, it's locking up quite nicely.

Yeah, I had a dwarven death camp going.. Dumped all food/drink into a chasm and locked them outside on a glacier map. Things got real freezy real fast. Took me almost 4 hours to get through one season.
