[33f] Water buildings
« on: December 21, 2007, 04:09:00 pm »

Starting out on a glacier fort (with a magma vent), mining ice gave me water the same way mining rock gave me rock. I was then able to... build workshops with it. I know it's labeled as cold when i try to make a zone, but then shouldnt ice drop in the first place?
Edit: the building then decides to melt. Hmm

It is water, just very cold water. The game does not rename it to ice like we normally do, so you are building workshops out of ice which I don't see a problem with.

and it melted because I assume you built it inside, and subterranean tiles are somewhat above freezing temperature so it turned back into liquid water.
