So one of my mechanics is being terribly uncooperative.

First I didn't have the right shop built. But only because I hadn't started a metla industry yet.

Then he didn't want to gather any materials. I looked through his list and started counting off everything I needed.. didn't have rough gems, so I knocked some out of a wall real quick. He then gathers copper bars, a log... then stops. I thought maybe I didn't have the blocks, so I made a stone block... nothing. Okay, maybe it was a metal block... so I made an iron block... nothing. I have everything else he needs.

stacked leather... check
shining bars of metal... check
forest... check
skeletons... check
quarry... check
rough gems... check
square blocks.... check.

[Edit] Nevermind. I'm retarded. I watched for a minute before realizing I had ordered production of some bone bolts, and my last bit of bone was going into that... I canceled it and he took them.

He might want more bones.  Sometimes mine have required as many as three stacks of them.  Or more of any of them, for that matter.  Is there an item of which he took the last one available?

Lol yeah, I was just wracking my brain to figure out what I needed.. he hadn't taken the last bones,  and I knew I had more [and no animals to butcher even if I needed more..] and I noticed my crafts dwarf just toiling away.. then it clicked and I was like 'Oh derp.'
