Hey, all I did was swiffle with some dwarf ethics and add giant eagles to the common domestic bunch (which didn't seem to work). Can't'a been THAT, surely.

You will not embark as humans if there are no dwarven civilizations left AND humans are not [CIV_CONTROLLABLE]

Check the error log. It will show what part of the RAWs you have duplicated.

Sounds like a raw duplication.  Keep an eye out for color changing minerals, fluffy wambler diplomats, unknown material meat and general madness.  It can be lots of fun if it doesn't crash!

It seems that trying to make the giant eagles common_domestic as well as wild is what's doing it. Time to take them out of common_domestic.
