Alright, I figure Toady will fix things in the order he likes and is able to, but I'm still curious what all most people would most like fixed.
Personally, I think the thing I'd most like fixed is the Dungeon Master. I like animals, and I started fairly recently, and haven't yet been able to play a version with him working!
After that I think would like animals fixed so that all of the grass-eating animals can actually support themselves, probably from Yaks upward, and maybe have fighting lowered a tad, and the animals' tendency to all bunch up (and possibly battle) when there's a whole pasture for them to spread out in.
After that... probably weapon/uniform problems fixed so that I don't have to worry about any problems in assigning miners/woodcutters/hunters to squads. And the problems with things like soapmaking, milling and pressing and their related stockpiles fixed so that we don't run into the bugs that act like we don't have the materials/ability to do them when we do.
While these aren't bugfixes... I'd also love love love to see a better interface for dealing with animals. Like, list them in the animals screen and in the pasture interface by animal type or current pasture or something, so that if we're slaughtering some/moving pastures/whatever, we don't have to go through a completely random (well, by "age" but random as far as anything useful goes) list of animals, picking a few out as our eyes glaze.
It'd also be nice to see some sort of "veterinarian" tasks, to heal up animals so that I don't always have to see the poor things with diagnosis requests, bright flashing injury signs, etc etc.
So what about everyone else? What would you most like to see fixed/added?
