How do you make evil oceans?

By playing with the advanced world gen settings, I've made a medium island region with several huge evil areas, which is great. But I can't seem to get any evil oceans, just calm, wilderness, or untamed wilds. Am I missing a setting somewhere or misunderstanding how oceans work?

It's all random, but if you make a region larger there is a much larger chance that it will be good/evil.
So you might want to try merging a few ocean regions if that is even possible, I've never played with that tool :)

Trying a larger region now, we'll see how that goes.

It certainly takes a lot longer to run.  :)

Edit: Still no evil oceans. =/

There is an option that stops large biomes from becoming good or evil. It is usually set on 0 but can be changed in the parameters.

I haven't actually tried to, but none of them are good with any of the default settings.

I find evil oceans are supremely easy to create... maybe too easy.  But so are good ones.  Trick is to make sure the ocean is the biggest feature on the map and then set the advanced worldgen parameters to make at least some large good/evil areas.
