Are you trying to prove something?  That's not really a lot of clothing, DF or otherwise.

There have been far more absurd amounts piled on before.

Also, 'alt+PrntScrn' will only take a shot of the active window.  Namely, DF.  I also recommend the PNG filetype, as it retains the image quality while still reducing size.

Look closer.

He's wearing FOUR HATS and FOUR SHIRTS. In a SCORCHING reigon. Or at least warm.

Also, I did alt-prtscr and it still came out like this.

Clothing protects from heat. Such effects as heat buildup from activity, and discomfort from sweating are currently not accounted for, and I suppose will not be for quite a while.

As for "four hats and four shirts"...  He's wearing.... a dress, a suit of mail as armor, a robe over that, and a cloak. Seems fine, even for high temperature, except I don't think I would wear a robe and a cloak at the same time...
As for hats, he has a soft cap to cushion the metal cap and helm that he's wearing, plus a hood to cover it all up. Nothing out of the ordinary here.

Of course, there's the game allowing you to stick a lot of caps onto your head, but then again, can't you in real life?

Traditional Arab garb is all about layering on the robes.
