Little thing, if you disembowel someone, and their guts trail behind them, once they die it turns into blood.  Nothing really major, just thought you'd like to know.

They don't turn into blood, they just disappear.  They are connected to the living creature, and will vanish when that living creature is turned into a corpse item.

It's just that blood often happens to be underneath where guts land.

It might be interesting if guts stayed around as an object, or could be created at  a butcher shop.  They could be used as waterskins or made into sausage (mmm, sausage...).

I look forward to the day that my adventurer can have his belly sliced open, and then strangle to death the man that did it with my own intestines before dying of blood loss.

(I have seen this happen before in a Taiwanese grindhouse film; it was pretty awesome.)

Riki-Oh has been ecstatic lately.  He has slept in a poor bed recently.  He has had a fight with the guards recently.  He enjoyed partaking in slaughter lately.  He strangled a guard with his own intestines lately.  He suffered major wounds to the arm lately.  He was happy they healed when he tied the tendons back together.

Right. Once we can throttle someone with their own organs, we need the ability to rip off their arms and beat them to death with their own fists, wookie-style.

Edit: Also, if we can have flames affecting guts, lighting their intestines like a fuse and lighting someone up from INSIDE their own body.  Ouchies.

Second edit: Also, disembowel + sharp drop + grabbable intestines = Painful bungee jump.  This should be in the suggestions board!
