DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

Looks like it could be cool...absolutely HATE their freaking trailer on the main page though.  How hard is it for these F-ing companies to make a video that you can actually see?!  Pretty F-ing difficult by the looks of this one...I mean, I shouldn't have to expand it to full screen to know whats going on.

Ahh well, will prolly check it out more come Monday.

Take care,

I tried it out in closed beta, didn't even get out of the tutorial before I decided that it was ludicrously lame.
Maybe they've improved it since then.

I've been trying it.  It's like metal slug...  If you cut out everything that made metal slug fun and just left the grinding combat.  No weird power ups, no funny enemies, no ridiculous stages, just shoot nameless punks and try to increase DPS.  Seriously it's bad.

Aeria Games is a prime importer of Korean Treadmills, I'm not sure what you guys were expecting.

Something interesting, I guess.  I certainly did not know what Aeria's MO is, nor did I, even now, understand what "Korean Treadmills" are.  I am always looking to be pleasantly surprised by the posts here in Other Games, and, usually, I am.

A lot of games from Korean companies, looking primarily at the free-to-play (or is that pay?) MMORPGs are incredibly tedious grinds, where you have to perform repetitive tasks with zero fun factor for hours to get anywhere.

And before you mention any big-name MMO like WoW, Eve, EQII, etc... no, it's ten times worse then that.

Aeria used to service Project Torque.

Now it's gone, and I'm looking for any redeeming quality about Aeria.
Nope.

I read your post
I clicked the link
I saw the scarcely clad girl
I though she was hot

If a games needs that to attract people it's probably not worth playing it imo

played it a bit, this week ...

uninstalled after a little dozen games :
This is not a MMOG.

It's as massively as Counter-Strike is ...

other than this, it could be fun if it wasn't this much bashing over and over the same overpowered never-ending flow of zombies ...
