The mountainhomes want tools?
« on: April 16, 2011, 02:41:42 pm »

What? Tools?

EDIT: To sum it up, in case of a TL;DR, I don't understand what these "Tools" are... I thought dwarves refused to beleive in such trickery! They use their bare hands to get the job done!

I believe "tools" would mean picks and axes, stuff that they need to use to do dwarvenly jobs.

I thought picks and axes fell under the weapons category.

They also want hats, shoes, and figurines.

Tools are stone large pots iirc. Anyway look into your stocks menu, there is a new category called "tools" somewhere near the last page.

Tools you can make are hives, jugs, pots, honeycombs, and nest boxes. Tools you can't include carving knives, cauldrons, and other kitcheny stuff that only turns up in Adventure mode.

Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.
