I REALLY doubt swords can kill tanks... Swords will hardly ever penetrate ARMY body armor in the current version. And my guys have like 9 sword skill, 18 strength and agility.
My swords can decapitate, but other than that, they don't ever sever limbs anymore. Weird. They can still cut off faces and cause internal injuries though.

On long assault runs, Swords have the advantage of never running out of ammo.  Although, if you're fighting SWAT, Army, Gangs, or CCS, that won't matter, as those guys tend to have tons of ammo, even in the rifle catagory.

You can buy them for a few hundred dollars each at The Oubliette shop in the Commercial district. The Daisho and Sword of Morfigor are equivalent, just pick your flavor.
