Might not be a bug (I kinda like it, to be honest!), but my magma smelter never, ever gets cluttered.  I have something like 100 iron bars, 25 platinum bars, and 50 brass bars in my smelter, and production speed isn't affected at all.

Is this normal?

Yeah, all furnaces are clutter proof, but that's an oversight that arose when I changed how building were stored.  I'll have to fix it up at some point.
