For site finder, everything except gems and layer stones is a metal, correct?

I am pretty sure cluster stone like microcline, bauxite etc don't either.

Currently I'm pretty sure things like microcline are considered metals by the site finder.

Will DFHack communicate with DF during the site selection phase?  If so it might not be to difficult to create a more sophisticated search tool.

I'm pretty sure cobaltite was confirmed to show up as metal by the site finder so I bet the rest of the non layer stones do as well
