Differences between SDL and Legacy

So, I've been wondering... What's exactly different from one download to the other?

Legacy is slow. No reason to use it, unless the SDL doesn't like your system.

Legacy has fewer graphics optimizations, I think. It also has fewer graphics-related features like zooming and screen resizing. It might use the old keybind menu too, can't remember.

It's kept around because some people had compatability issues with SDL, I think.
