Magmawiki Illustrations using Tilesets?
« on: April 19, 2011, 07:10:29 pm »

What is the current policy on illustration formats for the wiki with regard to third party tilesets?

Would it be objectionable to include a version-current Phoebus/Ironhand/Mayday copy of a diagram? Pages such as Water wheel or GCS might benefit. I recognize that they would not represent the game per se, but there is a reason we differentiate between the icon and the symbol. A recent thread really showed how clear things could be for we who learned from the Captain of Ducks...

The current policy, described on the (somewhat orphaned) Community Portal, is that images and screenshots should use the default tilesets (i.e. plain ASCII) and always be in PNG format.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.
