Uhh.. making creatures playable in adventure mode?

I wanna try out being a cat in a dwarven settlement, and fight the rats or something.
Or it could be cool to play as a fly..

But.. how? I have searched, and no i did not find.


Also would it be possible to create a poo golem race? I mean making a race wich purely consists of poo, so i can run into a fortress and make everyone so unhappy that they go mad and throw tantrums at each other, making the pure existence of me the reason why everything goes shit when i go near it?

Just some funny ideas i wanna mod into the game..

You have to create a civilization of them in the "entity" files in the raws and include either the tag [INDIV_CONTROLLABLE] and/or [ADVENTURE_TIER:<number>]

Warning: You could end up recieving "Fly Ambushes" and "Cat Traders"

I think that you coyuld prevent that by setting MAX_POP_NUMBER, START_GROUP_NUMBER, and/or MAX_STARTING_CIV_NUMBER to zero. (In this case you will HAVE to include INDIV_CONTROLLABLE to make them playable in adventure mode)

Thanks, i played around with tags, and made most of the animals playable in Adventure and Fortress mode :D

If you do not set up trading/worldgen settings, you do not get those. It's pretty easy, you cannot do it wrong since you can do it wrong only if you ADD stuff, not remove.

I'd guess..

JESUS SHIT I CAN FLY AS A FLY.
Now if anybody could make me a fly-boy creature, of human size and with arms and legs?
Also could anybody explain why greeting someone crashes the game?

Not CAN_SPEAK. I guess the dialogue has problems handling vermin because they lack a lot of history info and stuff like that.

Hell, the game might just be crashing because the guy is TRYING to give you a quest, but he can't seem to find out what to call you!

Well it was like that, even in vanilla, i was very annoyed not being able to get anything like quests or finding sites and (!)caverns(!)
Could it be possible that i got outdated raws in a new version? The only mods i got, is this new civilisation of vermin and cats and and Wanderer's Friend, speaking of the latter, could it be possible to make a wall making reaction? I want to build a little house out in the wild to store all my stuff and hide from bogeymen in untill i am skilled enough(It wasent like that my human adventurer lacked strenght or agility, it was SUPERHUMAN!! I was just not skilled enough with the spear)

Oh damn i gotta try making walls/doors reactions and some fly-boy creature..

Jesus shit, i acutally managed to make a flyboy! and with all my indiv_controllable(Lol trollin) stuff.
He has normal human features, is prone to ambitious flying, he also got 2 wings and is amphibious, the greatest explorers of the more exotic realms of Armok are Flyboys. Enjoy!
