Building a well crashes the game

I've tried 3 times now to build a well. Every time my guy starts building it the game crashes. Don't know what else to say.

I have experienced this also.   Sometimes it will work for awhile, but will eventually crash after I've built a well.

You really don't need wells if you have water on the map.
