I just got back from Sucker punch, and it might be my favorite movie of all time. Of course, I'm completely crazy and not even in the most stable of moods for *me.* Ten minutes after it was over, I nearly killed myself going 75 on a gravel road.

I really don't care about what mood you're in (as long its a happy one), any advice is good advice, she might like it, i dunno.

It's a very very very weird movie. There's about a dozen different levels to look at it with. Tell her that you heard from a somewhat crazy online aquatence that it was a really weird movie, but that he enjoyed it. Mention that there's SOME kind of feminist message in it and that said oa isn't sure what to think about it. Ask if you could see it with her and then have a discussion about it later.


Of course my successful date count is at 0 right now . . .

Go see hanna.  Its awesome.  Modern retelling of Grim farie tales.   really neat movie, stylish with lots of symbolism and forshadowing.  and for action guys, a cute teenage girl killing machine.  trust me, its not an action movie per se.
