Ok, I can get how to lay an item such as a chair or something, and I've even got a creature item. How would I go about making a creature material named... what it is? If you get what I mean...

[LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS:EGG:CREATURE:DWARF:CREATURE_MAT:DWARF:*MATERIAL*]

Shouldn't that create a dwarf egg made of the *material*, assuming the material was defined before hand?
How would I do that again? ;P
And if so, what could you put instead of EGG if I don't want it to be... and egg... or an item... just the raw material.

I"m not sure what you're trying to do here, but I'm pretty sure it won't work.

LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS uses the format:

[LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS:(item token):(item subtype):(material token):(material subtype)]

Item tokens and subtypes are defined here:

So for example, if you want a creature to lay gold nuggets, you use:

[LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS:STONE:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:NATIVE_GOLD]

If you want it to lay rough emeralds, use:

[LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS:ROUGH:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:EMERALD]

or bars of adamantine:

[LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS:BAR:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:ADAMANTINE]
