Furnaces can't be built with blocks

None of the furnaces listed under the (b)uild Furnac(e) menu seem to be able to be built with stone blocks, rather the only option is raw stone. Other buildings seem OK.

FWIW I don't have magma version available so I don't know if they work with blocks or not.
