Today's Gamasutra newsletter started with a link to a designer talking about game design ... what do you see on page one? DF.

(Gamastura is a website from within the games industry - the article is some supposedly well-known designer, who I've never heard of, discussing the Sandbox genre.)

... and a lot of more about DF on page 4/5 of that article. (He uses DF to illustrate "how to use goals to establish dramatic structure".)
