1) Press T
2) Press the corresponding letter of the thing you want to throw from your inventory
3) Aim at the tile you want to throw the thing at much like you look around with the 'L' key
4) Press enter.

If your throwing skill is not at least halfway decent you will often miss. Also, you can not target body parts when throwing.

Ohhh.

Honestly I am not one hundred percent sure  :-\ no matter how many times I do it myself the interface for it seems a little screwy so I'm not sure if a key press is necessary or not.

Throwing usually only works if you are waaaay bigger than your opponent.

I actually got a hold of a groundhog once, while playing as a human.

Little guy hit a tree damn near outside of my view range. He uh...didn't make it.

Press shift+a, then press enter to select wrestling mode and select target. Grab any of his bodyparts with one of yours (even legs can be used to garb and throw if you are on the ground). If you grab him successfully, the next time you target him with wrestling attack you get the option to throw him. You can't throw opponents who are already on the ground. The throw comes to effect on the next 'tick', and results in opponent stunned and on the ground and usually causes no direct damage whatsoever. You can only throw stuff multiple tiles if you are much larger than they, and these can result in fatalities. On flip side, wrestling something that is even slightly larger than you are has little effect usually.

Well, if you're much bigger than it, there isn't much point in throwing it, you can get an easy and simple kill by pinching its throat. See, I was once in the arena as a bronze collosus. I threw a dwarf from one side (by that castle thing) to the other (by that thing with the deep pit with the tunnels to the place underneath the castle), and the dwarf stood up and started walking around.
He was unhurt.

Every few miles, [the dwarves] stop the cart.  One of the dwarfs (sic) gets off, digs a hole down below the dirt layers, licks the bedrock, and then they know exactly where they are.  It's called GPS: Geological Piquancy Sampling.

It also depends on the density of your materials. I was testing a custom monster made of a metal that basically amounts to dense adamantine, and his kicks/punches were throwing things a few tiles away on their own, and every fight was promptly ended whenever he managed to figure out how to throw something into the wall and make it explode.

Size is a gigantic factor for it though, yes, you need to be quite a bit bigger then the other guy.

Throw does tend to base on size. If your much bigger, you can fling your opponent against a wall, tree, or onther enemy and kill it. If your about the same size, you will cause stun. If your smaller, wont work. IT always gives me lols though when the legends say differently.

The thread that was in said that happened because said gobbo caused a cavein that killed the colossus.

no, the gobbo was slaughtered, and did the most damage to it, before the dwarves pulled the lever.

I'd say that's what caused the game to attribute the kill to him, and since you can't cause organ or bleeding damage (which are normally used as explenations for delayed kills in legends mode, ie. "bled to death due to wound caused by X") on bronze colossus the game reverted to it's true cause of death even if the goblin never actually tried to wrestle the colossus in any way.

So basically, it's a bugged/wierd entry.
