Cabinet troubles
« on: April 30, 2007, 10:12:00 pm »

I see this in my nobles bedrooms mostly.  The noble will walk around with a "store owned item task" continuously.  This isn't too bad.

However it can happen in a tomb.  Then any dwarf is affected by continuously putting the item in a tomb.

The cause is simply having 2 or more cabinets in the room.  The affected dwarf will move the item from one cabinet to another until they need to eat or drink.  This is especially bad with a tomb, since it can affect any dwarf.

Will cabinets in tomb have the dead dwarf's items stored in it? This would help cleanup. Though I have noticed children taking their dead parents belongings.

Normally I don't use tombs, just place coffins set to allow burial. Would be nice if you could make a tomb for a dwarf already dead, as opposed to only live ones. (I may be mistaken, time to check!)

Aye, Ive wanted to honor some dwarf or another for outstanding valor (read spectacular death) and cannot. Would be nice to do posthumously.

I placed three masterpiece glass statues to commemorate the death of the three miners when the magma river was reached.
But yeah, a tomb is good too.^^
