A new mod project Im working on

Im starting a mod project that adds many new races and creatures to dwarf fortress, quite like many other mods such as Genesis and civilization mod.

Planned features

-new civ races-
Duergar:a semi insectoid relative of the dwarf, they live underground and have steampunk style technology, they have a norse like language.
Fey folk: a race of people who live in good forests, they have strange features such as horns or antennia, they are mischievious and also kidnap children
Angel:a race that lives in good mountains, they have multiple castes and are capable of flight, some of them are made of energy.
more animal men
Yokai:creatures which inhabit evil areas, the Yokai are mischievious spirits which can cause trouble, they do not have LIKES_FIGHTING however
Forsaken:Undead creatures forced back into the mortal realm, because of their features they are often attacked by other races

New megabeasts
Outer god:a creature composed of chaotic energy, they can inflict syndromes on people and generally make your life a living hell

New semimegabeasts:
Sphinx:A creature who inhabits abandoned fortresses, they may become kings or queens of civilizations, they have high mental stats and possess the ability of flight.
Nepher:desert dwelling creatures with great stats sometimes worshipped as gods by others
Basilisk:creatures with a powerful gaze attack that causes you to bleed to death through your eyes

Creatures:
Nymphs:creatures who can blind others with their beauty, they are also great dodgers
Dryads:similer to Nymphs but drop wood when they die
Many others to come later

-Magic-
this mod is going to have a magic system, you can craft a variety of spells, from fireballs to weapon enhancements, to doomsday spells
Different civilizations have different modes of magic

Dwarves and duergar use Alchemy, they use magical materials to enchant weapons and create new more complex materials
Elves and fey folk use druidic magic, they have nature based spells and use plant parts to cast them
Humans and Yokai use arcane magic, which requires a spellbook to use, with this magic they can cast fireballs and magic missiles and ice balls and such
Goblins and Forsaken use witchcraft, they must use blood to cast their spells, there spells usualy cause syndromes upon enemies.
