deons wasteland mod help

when I play deons wasteland mod, I can see everything fine, but all of the people are invisible!
can anyone help me, or have ideas on how to fix this?

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.
