Well, I recently got my bookkeeper and Mananger, and the economy is started, ect, ect.

But Now all of ym dwarves are starving to death, except my legendaries and nobles.

There's plenty of food, and they all have enough money to eat, but all my dwarves do is work until they starve to death, usually while sleeping.

Also, they are still drinking, just not eating.

Are you on the latest version?  There was a version that was up briefly where the economy made food stop working.

Well the game says this:

But I dont trust it, because it's the same version as stated in the "recent" updates, but it has the same number.

I downloaded this back in july last year, or something like that.

The latest update was in January 2007.

If you get the version 0.23.130.23a, your fort should start working.

Um, why do the 'v' and 'b' in the screenie look editted in? Or are they of a different style in your font?

That's why I was asking. I have made a personal one that I *really* like and need to share. That one has inconsistency between the letters and numbers. Being a graphic artist of rl   :p

What do you mean by ain't recognizing new version?  The save file doesn't appear in the save list?

Downloaded new version, game own folder, and swapped my older game's data folder.

It still says it's version 0.23.125.23b

Or am I not able to play my other fortress, of which I spent an assload of time on?

Move saves only. There should be "saves" or something similar in data folder.
