how often does somthing ley eggs?

how often in the game does a specific creature ley eggs? is it the same for all creatures or is it something in the raw file?

From the description of the event, I think that your copy of Dwarf Fortress was on drugs when this happened. That's surely the only logical explanation for a human werewolf with deadly farts dying from it's own excrement after slaughtering some goblins comrades.

It appears to be the same as most creatures. Remember, your dwarves could just be stealing the eggs the second they come out.

and can some one remind me what raw value determines at what age a creature grows up at?

never mind, I found it, it was child hmmnn interesting fact turkeys seem a better option for both eggs and meat then chickens.
